I have been a consumer lender for over 26 years and have spent the last eight years in the mortgage industry. Most of my business (82%) comes from repeat and referrals due to the strong relationships I have grown and maintained with my past clients and business partners.
I have a love for mortgage lending and my mission is simple: “To give my clients the information and options they need to make the best choice in their home loan, guiding them through the loan process so that they feel confident about the many options available for them to meet their long and short-term financial goals.” With many years in the industry and the wide range of experiences I have the expertise and experience to assist my clients every step of the way.
For most of us, the purchase of a home is the largest financial commitment we will make and usually our largest monthly payment. I strive to help my clients understand that their home is also a valuable financial tool and can ultimately help them achieve their dreams and plans they have for the future. From first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, I have the right mix of loan products to accommodate most of the needs of my clients.

LARRY COLTIN

I have over 32 years of experience in consumer finance. Recently, I joined American Mortgage Advantage Group Inc. (AMA) because I find that as a team with my associates, we can offer our clients much better service from a broker platform by selecting from over 120 lenders. This wide selection of mortgage providers enables me to tailor a loan that fits my client's long-and-short term goals and provides the lowest rates and closing costs available. Before joining AMA Group Inc. I was a Senior Loan Officer for GMAC Mortgage in Palmdale for three years and also worked for Wells Fargo for 29 years, the majority being in the consumer finance division and the latter two at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. These experiences provide the foundation of my knowledge and expertise that I bring to AMA. I have lived in the Antelope Valley for over 20 years where I am a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Palmdale. With four sons, now ranging in age from 22 to 30, I was also a Cub Scout Leader. My wife, Janet and I enjoy traveling, wine tasting, entertaining and watching movies. Professionally, I find my greatest enjoyment is the moment that my customer's needs are fulfilled by the funding of their loans!

As a licensed mortgage professional with the AMAGROUP INC. I have spent the last several years helping people meet their financial goals as well as passing along my knowledge of the importance of credit and how it works. I look forward to the challenge our current market presents and helping friends, clients and their families better their financial position. With over 120 lenders to work with as well as being FHA-CALHFA and VA approved our team gives you and your family the best opportunity to meet the needs of an ever changing market. I also donate my time to the National Mortgage Network an organization made up of mortgage professionals who volunteer our time to advise and help educate consumers about current market conditions. Furthermore, I offer all my friends and clients my credit help package that is free and will allow you to avoid paying a credit repair company hundreds and hundreds of dollars to do what you can do for yourself. Enabling people to understand credit, mortgages and market conditions brings a great feeling of satisfaction and allows me to help people from all walks of life. I live with my wife of 7 years and two children in the Mission Beach area of San Diego, Ca. where we enjoy church activities, surfing, bike riding, bbq’ing and time with my family.

CARL GIESE

I have over 22 years experience in the mortgage financing industry and specialize in conventional, VA and commercial lending. Along with my lending experience I have also succeeded in building branches from scratch by utilizing my mangement and marketing skills which always mirrored industry trends. Here at AMA Group Inc I am confident that with their resources coupled with my knowledge and professionalism that I will have the unique ability to structure a mortgage plan specific to my clients needs. In a market such as this it is vital to have an expert in your corner guiding you every step of the way.

TRUDY ZARNOWIEC

As a licensed mortgage professional, I have spent the last 15 years helping people meet their financial goals. It was my time as an underwriter, processor and funder that best prepared me for the challenges we face in today’s market. As Business Development Manager for American Mortgage Advantage my duties include selecting the best program to meet our customer's goals, payment and equity objectives. In addition, I process and review all loan applications and communicate the loan status with customers, realtors and builders. The knowledge and understanding of programs, guidelines and time frames attained from my past positions has given me the skills that translate into accurate and timely processing for our customers. Prior to joining AMA Group Inc., as Sales Manager with National City Mortgage I was responsible for the supervision of the Palmdale office and growing their share of the mortgage market. As Southern California Builder Manager for GMAC Mortgage, I was responsible for the development of new business opportunities, the maintenance of existing builder accounts and supervision of all certified builder loan officers from Los Angeles to San Diego. As a loan officer for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, my emphasis on “builder” afforded me the opportunity to work with many of the large builders in the Antelope Valley. For the last five years I have served as a director for the Antelope Valley chapter of the Building Industry Association (BIA) and am currently serving as 2008 chapter President. I have learned a great deal through the years about what it takes to build a house and more importantly, a community. I have been married for 13 years and have two adorable daughters with whom I enjoy spending time. I also enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, and church activities.

TERESA SCHUMACHER

As a licensed mortgage professional and Real Estate Agent over the past 7 years, I have taken great pride in orchestrating my clients personal and financial lives. I take great pride in what I do as not only a Real Estate Professional but also as a parent. My ability to balance my time and prioritize my goals separates me from mortgage professionals of the past. As the market experiences some temporary adjustments I remain up to date and educated with current industry trends so that in turn I can educate you as the consumer. In today's volatile market it is imperative for you to have a trusted advisor with experience in bank owned properties.

Prior to my professional career I attended Temple University where I graduated from the Fox School of Business and Management with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. While at Temple University I played on the Womens Division I Volleyball Team that won three A10 Championships during my four year attendance.
